Draw a Note
Play music with a pencil
Use a pencil and everyday desk objects to play music.
Overview
Draw a Note turns a pencil sketch into an instrument. Draw a few shapes on paper, tap them, and each shape plays its own note.
It works because pencil graphite conducts electricity. Each filled shape acts as a touch pad, wired to an MPR121 capacitive touch sensor that catches every tap and plays a sound. Even the sharpener becomes part of the instrument.
