Move your arms in front of the webcam to steer a tower of rotating rings that ripples in 3D.

This experiment uses the webcam as the input instead of a mouse or keyboard. PoseNet tracks both wrists and elbows, and that movement drives a stack of rotating rings drawn in 3D.

Built with p5.js and ml5.js in September 2021. Raising and lowering your arms scrolls through the structure and changes how far each ring ripples, while a track plays underneath so the shape moves in time with the music.
